DTS Has Moved to UAEPass — What That Means for Your Filing

By Consaya Editorial — 2026-08-14

The Federal Tax Authority has pulled DTS off its old system. You now access it through UAEPass, full stop.

If you've been filing VAT returns or corporate tax through the old portal, that's gone. UAEPass is the gateway now — registration, login, submission, everything. It's not a gradual migration or a soft launch. The FTA has moved the service, and if you're not set up there yet, your quarterly VAT 201 or corporate tax filing will stall when you log in expecting the old interface.

What this actually changes depends on your current setup. If you're already on UAEPass, you notice almost nothing. You log in as before. If your accountant or tax agent handles it, they're probably already registered there — it's been standard for a while. But if you've got an older internal process, a consultant who hasn't updated their toolkit, or a finance person who's been using the same login for three years, this breaks that routine.

The FTA's doing this to consolidate. UAEPass is their digital ID platform now. One login for all services — registration, refunds, queries, filing — reduces duplicates and closes gaps. From a compliance angle, it's cleaner. From your angle, it's one more password to manage and one more system to check before a deadline hits you.

Register in UAEPass before your next filing quarter. Don't leave it till the week your VAT 201 is due. If you're a sole trader or a small LLC, do it yourself now. If you work with a tax agent, confirm they're already connected. If you're using Consaya, the software already prepares your return filing-ready and flags what's due — it doesn't remove the UAEPass step, but it does stop you scrambling at the last minute to figure out where your numbers went or what deadline you've missed.

One less thing to discover wrong on filing day is worth the twenty minutes now.
