Terms & Conditions

Agreement

By accessing consaya.com or using the Consaya application you agree to these Terms of Use. Consaya is a brand of Thanaaya Technologies (thanaaya.com), Dubai, UAE. Capitalised terms carry the meaning set out here.

Who you are contracting with

Consaya is a brand wholly owned and operated by Thanaaya Technologies (thanaaya.com), a software company established in 2021 and licensed by the Department of Economy and Tourism, Government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates under professional licence 964356 (federal unified licence BL1484), VAT registration number 104056148000003 and corporate tax registration number 104056148000001, at Office 304, Westburry Tower 1, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. Your contract for the service is with Thanaaya Technologies, and any notice, claim or correspondence under these terms should be addressed to it there. Thanaaya Technologies builds software for third-party clients as well as its own products; Consaya is one of its own products, and no client of Thanaaya Technologies has any interest in, or access to, your Consaya data.

The service

Consaya provides cloud-based professional services automation and finance software on a tiered subscription. Features available depend on your plan as described on the pricing page.

Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed per the base-plus-seat pricing shown on the pricing page, in AED, on a recurring basis. The Free plan is available up to its stated user limit. Prices and packages may change with reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or use it for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter, including all tax and accounting data.

Not a licensed tax agent

Consaya is software, not a tax adviser. Consaya is NOT a Tax Agent registered or licensed with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA), and nothing in the product or on this site is tax, legal, accounting or financial advice. The VAT, corporate-tax and reporting figures the software produces are tools to help you and your adviser — they must be reviewed before you rely on them. You remain solely responsible for registering, calculating, and filing correctly and on time with the FTA. For advice on your specific situation, consult a qualified professional or an FTA-registered Tax Agent.

Content on this site

Articles and guides on consaya.com are general information about UAE compliance, not advice, and may not reflect the latest rule changes. Verify against the FTA and your adviser before acting.

Best effort, not a guarantee

Everything we do to keep the service secure, available and running is done on a best-effort basis. We take reasonable and current measures — encryption, access control, backups, monitoring — but we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or proof against attack, and we give no uptime guarantee or service-level commitment. No plan, page, proposal or conversation creates one unless we have signed a separate written agreement saying so.

UAE e-invoicing

Where your plan includes UAE e-invoicing, Consaya creates the invoice in the required PINT AE format and transmits it through Complyance Electronics L.L.C, an e-invoicing service provider listed by the UAE Ministry of Finance, which we appoint and pay. You contract with us alone: there is no separate agreement with the provider and no separate bill from them. We may change provider on reasonable notice, provided the replacement is accredited. The service transmits what you give it — you remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of each invoice, for registering with the Federal Tax Authority, and for meeting your own deadlines under Cabinet Decision 106 of 2025 and the Ministerial Decisions made under it. A document the provider or the Authority rejects is reported back to you in the product; it is not a filing, and correcting and resending it is yours to do. We give no warranty that a document will be accepted, and the limit of liability below applies to anything arising from the e-invoicing chain.

Sending email as your address

If you authorise Consaya to send from your own domain or mailbox, you remain responsible for what is sent from it, for holding the authority to grant that permission, and for the accuracy of the messages your team triggers. You can withdraw the authorisation at any time by removing the DNS records or disconnecting the mailbox. We are not liable for messages that are delayed, rejected, filtered or lost by any mail provider, nor for the consequences of a message reaching or failing to reach its recipient.

Limit of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, goodwill or data, or for penalties, interest or assessments arising from your filings. This applies equally where the cause is a security breach or unauthorised access to our systems, an interruption or permanent discontinuation of the service, or the cessation of our business. Where the service is unavailable, our remedy is to extend your subscription by free service equivalent to the period lost. Our total aggregate liability for all claims, however arising and whether in contract, tort or otherwise, will not exceed the subscription fees you actually paid us in the ninety (90) days immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. If you have paid us nothing, our liability is limited to providing free service.

Your data on discontinuation

If we cease to provide the service we will give you what notice we reasonably can and make your data available for export in a common format. Beyond that, and beyond the limit of liability above, we are not responsible for loss you suffer from the service ending. You should keep your own copies of records you are required by law to retain.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
